Litter, food, water, and a hiding box behind a closed door. The resident cat keeps the rest of the house.
Sight · day 7
Sight through a gate, not a wrestling match
A baby gate or cracked door is the first visual. Short, fed, and done before anyone growls for real.
Shared house · day 14
Supervised shared space
Same floor, extra vertical space, two litter boxes plus one. Stay in the room.
Not a substitute for veterinary or extension-office advice. Flock behavior varies — separate at the first sign of blood.
